Grant Profile and Process

The foundation rarely gives grants over  $ 20,000 for any one project or year. Most grants are considerable smaller and support mainly projects which are designed and conducted by former participants of the Foundation's courses.

How to Apply for a Grant

1. Basic Organizational Information:
   including a brief statement of your organization's activities, history, and tax-exempt status;
2. Contact Person:
   name, title, complete mailing address, e-mail, address (if applicable), telephone and fax number;
3. Grant Purpose:
   issues and problems the proposed project will address;
4. Key Personnel:
   names, titles, and qualifications of staff members who will be involved in the project;
5. Budget:
   project and the total organization budget;
6. Request/Term:
   total dollar amount requested from the Foundation; time for which funds are being requested;
7. Other Funding Sources:
   other funds raised and pending requests to other funders.

Please do not attach any additional supporting materials. Our staff will review your letter and respond promptly. In some cases, you may be requested to submit a full application and supporting materials. In all instances, your proposal will be given full and attentive consideration.
